Our aim on the Vallé Academy of
Performing Arts Holiday courses is to provide a secure and friendly
environment where students will come together to work on a play,
musical or short film.
We all find it easier to learn whilst
having fun and during our Holiday Courses this is achieved whilst
producing a play, musical or film in a week.
|
 |
Each session starts with
playing theatre games which release tension and inhibitions. |
|
 |
Students may learn
dances or movement to music which helps physical and mental co-ordination. |
|
 |
Performing the
dances and script at the end of the course builds confidence and
gives a sense of achievement. |
|
 |
Painting and making
scenery and props in a set time limit stimulates the imagination and
focusses the mind. |
|
 |
Taking on new
characters and dressing in costumes that otherwise may not have been
worn adds to the fun and professionalism of our courses. |
Drama as an art form has excited and
stimulated performers and audiences throughout history, and one of
our roles on The Vallé Academy of Performing Arts Holiday
course is to provide the students with the tools and the vocabulary
with which to appreciate this more fully.
All students receive a holiday course
t-shirt & once the course is complete receive a certificate
confirming their participation.
With an average of over 100 students
successfully completing holiday courses with us every year - the
numbers speak for themselves.
