WE NEED YOUR VOTE

It’s nearly time for the Broxbourne Youth Awards and the nominations are now open and we hope you will support us this year.

In 2015 we won Youth Club of the Year and it would be amazing to be nominated for this category this year. We have been a big part of the Borough of Broxbourne since 1994 and in 24 years we have taught many, many students. Some of whom now have their own children attending classes with us. What better advert can you have than that! We have had a very busy year. In 2017 we have produced many shows namely, Read all About It our dance show, plus Aladdin and Elf with over 140 students in each show. If you were part of these shows you know how much we put into them and how much fun we have. We have also put on plays with our drama students held holiday courses and arranged many theatre trips. We are very proud of all we achieve at The Vallé Academy and if you are too please give us your vote.

There is also the Young People’s Charity of the Year Award. As you know we have been a registered charity since 2002 and every year we give Scholarships and Bursaries and help to those who are unable to attend our classes due to situations beyond their control. If we have ever helped you, or someone you know please vote for us.

There are also the following categories:

Young Volunteer – we have many students who come and help at our classes week after week and we hope that we will have many nominations for these wonderful helpers. They must be aged between 11 and 19.

Youth Project – Vallé FX our performance team have been performing to the people of the Borough of Broxbourne, at Charity events, fetes, and fairs etc for over 11 years. There are 35 performers aged between 6 and 19 who give it their all and go out of their way to entertain no matter what the weather! Please vote for Vallé FX and let them have the recognition they deserve.

Youth Worker – this is for any youth worker (paid or voluntary) working in the Borough of Broxbourne in 2017, who has been an inspiration to young people. Is there a young teacher who has inspired you this year? If so please vote for them.
